OUR PROJECT

 

LET IT BLOOM 

Content 

Unfortunately, in today's world children spend most of their time with their phones and computers by ignoring outside world. The seasons pass by and they do not notice a thing.  With our project, we aim to encourage our students to see the beauty of Spring and enjoy the season. We also plan to improve  English language skills and digital competence of our students. 

Aims 

1. To encourage our students to see the beauty of Spring and enjoy the season. 

2. To improve English language skills of our students. 

3. To develop digital competence of our students. 

4. To enhance our students' English vocabulary regarding "Spring" 

5. To improve collaboration among the students from different European countries  

Work Process  

February 

1. Students will introduce themselves and say their favourite activity in Spring. It will be recorded 

2. "Spring" themed bulletin boards will be created in partner schools for the visibility of the project. 

2. Each partner school will create two posters. Then the project poster will be chosen by the students through online voting. 

3. Each partner school will create two logos. Then the project logo will be chosen by the students through online voting. 

4. The students from the partner schools will draw "Spring" pictures. Then  an online exhibition will be created with these pictures ( online exhibition- collaborative work) 

March 

1. The students will take photos of their cities in Spring. Then the video collage of these photos will be created (collaborative work) 

2. Each partner school will create two slogans. Then the project slogan will be chosen by the students through online voting. 

3. Common project poem will be created by the mixed country teams.  The verses of this acrostic poem will form the names of Spring months( team work- common product) 

4.  Each partner school will create a "Spring" themed online game or exercise on  "Bamboozle" and it will be played by the other partner students. 

5. Spring themed handicraft products will be created by the partner schools. Partner students will decide on the activity themselves. 

April 

1.  The letters of each word in the project slogan will be designed by the student teams. Each mixed country team will take care of a word( team work-common product) 

2. Each partner school will create a "Spring" themed online game or exercise on  "Kahoot" and it will be played by the other partner students. 

3. Spring calendar will be created by the partner students. There will be spring months "March, April, May" in the calendar. Each mixed country team will design a month in the calendar(

team work -common product) 

4. Three  Spring themed word clouds will be created by each partner school. Then a photo collage will be created with them. (collaborative work) 

May 

1. Each partner school will create  "Spring" themed online games or exercises on  "Wordle" and they will be played by the other partner students. 

2. Spring themed bookmarks will be created by the students. Then they will be sent to the other partner schools by post or online 

3. Project poster puzzle will be played by the students 

4. Online common spring dictionary will be created by the students. This dictionary will have spring related words with pictures ( Common -Final product) 

All the partners have the equal responsibility to implement the activities with their students on time. They will inform each other about the reason in case of any delay. They also agree to carry out their part in common products and tasks. 

Expected results 

1. It will encourage our students to see the beauty of spring and enjoy the season. 

2. It will improve English language skills of our students. 

3. It will develop digital competence of our students. 

4. It will enhance our students' English vocabulary regarding "spring" 

5. It will improve collaboration among the students from different European
